AC Milan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic Compromise To Agree On Contract Renewal

The return of the Big Swede could kick start the mercato.

Nicolo Schira is reporting that the deal between AC Milan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is pretty much all confirmed as the two parties have reached an agreement. The salary has been agreed at 6 million euros plus bonuses for a one year extension.

Daniele Longo is reporting that the next 24/48 hours will be decisive as Milan are set to begin their pre season tests and training on Monday. He is reporting that Milan's maximum offer is 6 million euros and that Newcastle United made a late attempt to lure the striker away but failed.

Sky Italia are reporting that Milan are only waiting on the announcement of the renewal of the former Sweden international. They are also reporting on a 6 million compromise between the parties as Ibrahimovic reportedly asked for 7.5 million euros while Milan initially offered 5 million euros.
