MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan consider Fiorentina centre back Nikola Milenkovic to be the ideal signing for the summer but are struggling to negotiate with his club as the owner Rocco Commiso is requesting an unreasonable 40 million euros for him. The Serbia international has a wealth of Serie A experience at just 22 years and has previously worked with Stefano Pioli in Florence.
In another report, MilanNews.it are noting that Ante Rebic's move can play a role in these negotiations as the Eintracht Frankfurt owned attacker has a 50% resale clause in his deal from his time in Florence. Fali Ramadani represents both Milenkovic and Rebic who Milan are trying to lock down this summer. The report notes that Milan and Frankfurt are open to an equal exchange for Rebic and Silva but want to avoid having to pay Fiorentina for the 50% clause. Milan have already negotiated a contract with Rebic thus would like to move forward on this front. As a result, Milan could look to compensate Fiorentina for Rebic through the Milenkovic operation thus securing two signings whilst guaranteeing a fair return on two fronts for La Viola.
