MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan will look to add three midfielders to the first team this summer to replace the outgoing Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura . The midfield is also likely to get thinner with Rade Krunic and Lucas Paqueta possibly on their way out as they are deemed excess to requirements. Stefano Pioli is playing the 4-2-3-1 this season and will likely continue with this next year hence will need three starting midfielders and at least 3 depth midfielders at CAM and CM.
The report notes that Milan could the three could be Matteo Pessina from Atalanta (on a permanent deal), Tommaso Pobega from Pordenone (returning from loan) and Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea (on a loan with buy out clause). These three midfielder could join Kessie, Bennacer and Calhanoglu to round out the midfield outfit.
