MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan will return for pre season preparation in just about a week and there is a worry on the lack of concrete activity in the transfer window to this point. Milan will have a staked schedule to kick off the new season with Serie A game close together and the Europa League qualification stages. The report notes that contract renewals have been prioritised to keep Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma. The report also worryingly adds that Milan are looking to add signings in mid-September and will look to complete the squad closer to the end of the window as opposed to now.
In another report MilanNews.it are stating that Milan are prioritising signings in the defence and midfielder ahead of the attack. The centre back and a pair of wing backs will arrive first. For the midfield, one quality player will arrive to rotate with Kessie and Bennacer. The attack will have to wait as a right winger and striker would be helpful. The report also notes that the renewals are at the forefront with Gigio, Hakan and Zlatan expected to re-sign.
