Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan have already registered a significant capital gain from the sale to Suso this summer but are looking to off load a lot more dead weight from the squad. The report indicates that Milan could sell seven more players significantly trimming the club's massive wage bill. The departures of Lucas Biglia, Giacomo Bonaventura, Ricardo Rodriguez and Pepe Reina will save Milan in excess of 20 million per year in gross wages.
Davide Calabria and Diego Laxalt seem likely to leave with Sevilla and Real Betis interested in the former and Lokomotiv Moscow in the latter. Leo Duarte is another defensive name who is a doubt for the next season given his recurring injuries. Rade Krunic and Lucas Paqueta could exit the midfield with interest from Torino and Fiorentina respectively. All in all, it looks to be a summer of reshuffling as Milan look to upgrade their squad whilst lowering the wage bill.
