Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are on a lightning track to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The player has agreed to reduce his salary to join the club but the stumbling block is Chelsea's 22-23 million euros request. Milan continue to monitor the situation but will play the waiting game to lower this request.
Fabrizio Romano on Calcio Mercato is reporting that the player wants to return. He is reporting of an offer from Milan for a paid loan of 3 million euros with an option to buy for between 30-35 million euros. He notes that Milan are attempting to convince Chelsea to agree to the loan formula but the London based club want to sell outright.
Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it are also reporting that Milan will wait for the price to come lower as they are not willing to spend excessively on the deal. The report notes that they will make decisive moves in a few weeks.
Bakayoko spoke to Tutto Mercato Web and said: “Everyone knows Milan is in my heart and I have excellent memories. At the moment I am a Chelsea player, but in football we will see.”
