Multiple Journalists Reporting That AC Milan and Chelsea In Talks For French Midfielder

The midfielder is edging closer to a return to the San Siro after a year away in Ligue 1.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that AC Milan have opened talks with Chelsea to bring back France international Tiemoue Bakayoko to the San Siro. The report notes that Milan's first bid will be a paid loan with an option to buy. The loan will be worth 3 million euros and the buy out clause set at 35 million euros. He also adds that the player wants to come back.

Gianluca di Marzio is reporting the same stating the Milan are having a tough time adjusting to Chelsea's high demands.

Nicolo Schira is reporting that the talks have been ongoing since June 25th but notes that Marina Granovskaia prefers a permanent transfer and that Bakayoko is pushing for the return.

Alfredo Pedulla is reporting that Bakayoko will accept a salary of 3.5 million euros per season plus bonuses, a significant pay cut and that the current valuation of the player is around 18-20 million euros.
