Calcio e Finanza are reporting that AC Milan have agreed a deal with Spring Media to distribute Milan TV outside of Italy. The exclusive Milan Channel has only been available within the country and has had fans frustrated and yearning for international exposure.
Sport Business as reporting that Spring Media will be handling distribution for Milan TV and Chelsea TV next season. They have secured deals for Arsenal TV and Chelsea TV in the US (Turner), Asia Pacific (beIN Sports), Sub-Sahara Africa (StarTimes), Mexico (PCTV), the Balkans (SportKlub) and India (Viacom18) in the past.
Spring Media on their website are reporting that they have been appointed as the exclusive international sales agent for Milan TV programming for the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons. They will distribute an 8 hour weekly block in English about 40 times per season. The content will include:
- Men’s first team matches
- Women’s first team matches
- Weekly magazine show “AC Milan This Week”
- Players and Legend interviews
- “Behind the scenes” content
- And more
Milan Chief Commercial Officer Stylsvig said:
