AC Milan Considering To Use Left Back As Part Of Negotiations To Secure Hertha Berlin Playmaker

The left back is being used to secure incoming players while simultaneously getting him off the books with the final year of his contract starting.

Sport Mediaset via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan could attempt to leverage Ricardo Rodriguez to secure a transfer for Lazar Samardzic from Hertha Berlin this summer. Milan and Berlin has conducted business together when they concluded a deal for striker Krzysztof Piatek in January. The agent of Rodriguez, Gianluca di Domenico met with the club's management this past week amid interest from Bundesliga clubs as we reported here. Milan have been attempting to sign the 18 year old playmaker since January.

Milan's left back spent six months on loan at PSV Eindhoven but was not redeemed. He has turned down an opportunity to be part of a deal with Lokomotiv Moscow for Aleksey Miranchuk as we reported here. The left back is open to a return to the Bundesliga where he played prior to his Milan move for Wolfsburg where he was considered one of the top players in his position in the world.
