Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan are back in the race for Sandro Tonali after being ruled out a couple of weeks ago. The Brescia midfielder was reportedly practically done to Inter Milan but the situation seems further than first reported. Ralf Rangnick is reportedly a fan of the midfielder and considers him to be a good investment.
DiMarzio: Milan joins the race for Sandro Tonali. He's on Rangnick's wish list. The midfielder is a fan of AC Milan and could join the Rossoneri despite having an agreement with Inter already.

The report indicates that Tonali would not say no to a move. Milan would still need to agree terms with both Brescia and Tonali thus are still behind Inter in this operation. However, they are still in the race for the youngster. The report seems odd as he costs way too much for Milan and was almost done to Inter but oh well, I suppose there a glimmer of hope.
