MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have maintained contacts with the entourage of Saint Etienne centre back Wesley Fofana who the club have been monitoring for a while. The 19 year old centre back has 23 appearances in all competitions for his club after breaking into the first team this season. Milan even reportedly made an initial offer for him but this was turned down for not being sufficient.

The contacts remain with the agent of the defender and a second approach should be expected. It is important to note however that Fofana recently extended his contract with St Etienne to 2024. The player is reportedly still ready to make the jump to a bigger club. St Etienne will also reportedly still consider offers for the player.
