MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan have until the 15th of July to exercise the buy out clause for Simon Kjaer from Sevilla. The centre back has been a core part of the squad since his arrival in January after leaving Atalanta and has excelled alongside Alessio Romagnoli dominating the defence. Kjaer has a buy out option set at 3.5 million euros and Milan should definitely exercise it given how indispensable he has been.

The loan for the centre back goes on until the end of August but the decision on the purchase of the centre back needs to be made in the next week or so. There are positive signs coming from Milan's directors but the owners reportedly have the final say given the uncertainty around the project going forward this summer. Kjaer has 11 appearances for the Rossoneri in all competitions and has helped keep 6 clean sheets.
