Il Giornale via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan legend and current Technical Director Paolo Maldini could be offered another role in the management to keep him at the club. There has been speculation around his exit following in the footsteps of Zvonimir Boban over the arrival of Ralf Rangnick who has reportedly requested to takeover as both manager and technical director at the club this summer.

The report notes that Maldini and Rangnick issue could be dealt with earlier than the summer in the even that the German is asked to takeover before the end of the season. The report also notes that Gazidis has held a meeting with Maldini to discuss this option. It is worth noting, that Maldini and Gazidis finally seemed civil in Milan's win at Lazio as they sat side by side at the Stadio Olimpico and looked to be discussing the game - an image that has not been seen for quite a long time.
