MilanNews.it in an exclusive interview with AS journalist Sergio Gomez gave some interesting updates on AC Milan's targets from Spain and the possibility of these moves.
On Luka Jovic from Real Madrid, the journalist sees the move as unlikely as Jovic and his agent are reportedly happy in Madrid and are hoping to bounce back after a tough first season. Moreover, financially this is a difficult move for Milan to pull off.
On Oscar Rodriguez from Leganes (owned by Madrid), the journalist notes that the attacking midfielder has had a really good season where he has scored some impressive goals. He notes that he is a quality player.
On Marc Roca from Espanyol, he notes that the midfielder is a proven commodity in La Liga and states that he would be a 'great purchase’ for Milan.
Additionally, the journalist spoke on Hernandez move to Milan and was asked in Madrid had any regrets. He replied:
“Real Madrid do not regret selling Theo Hernandez because despite playing an excellent season in Alaves, Zidane was not convinced enough that he could overtake Marcelo. He had no continuity and for this reason Real chose to send him to Deportivo. Furthermore, if the Blancos had decided to bet on Theo, they would not have bought Mendy.“
