AC Milan Femminile players Francesca Vitale, Dominika Čonč, Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi, and Federica Rizza have all signed renewals with the team.

Vitale, Čonč, and Salvatori Rinaldi have all signed one-year extensions, while Rizza has signed a biennial contract.

All four players, along with the multi-year signings and new arrivals, will help Milan form a strong and cohesive squad next season.

Milan captain Valentina Giacinti, co-captain Laura Fusetti, and Valentina Bergamaschi are the players with multi-year agreements. All three players have three-year contracts with the club. Lidija Kulis, Milan’s Bosnian forward, has a two-year contract with the Rossonere.

It is expected that within the upcoming days, we’ll also see Refiloe Jane and Claudia Mauri sign renewals with the team.

The players that will make up Milan’s roster for next season have been confirmed in a recent article that was released by the team.

The players are as follows:

Valentina Giacinti, Valentina Bergamaschi, Laura Fusetti, Lidija Kuliš, Mária Korenčiová, Alessia Piazza; Francesca Vitale, Federica Rizza, Linda Tucceri Cimini, Refiloe Jane, Dominika Čonč; Claudia Mauri, Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi, Miriam Longo and Sara Tamborini.

Carolina Morleo (midfielder) and Maria Vittoria Nano (defender) will also be graduating from the Under-17s to the senior squad. However, they won’t be suiting up for the Rossonere until the 2021/2022 season.

Milan are also expected to make one more big signing for the summer, as former Germany international, Julia Šimić, will be making her way from London to Milan.

Her signing will likely be confirmed within the upcoming days.

Pre-Season Preparations

The Rossonere are currently in Tarvisio preparing for the upcoming season. The retreat for Tarvisio is also a homecoming for coach Maurizio Ganz, as he spent part of his childhood there.

Milan will be training in Tarvisio until Thursday, August 4th.

Afterward, they’ll return to Milan in anticipation of the start of next season.

The next season of Serie A Femminile will start on August 22nd. Before, then, the draw for next season’s calendar will take place on August 6th on Sky Sport.

The Rossonere will be looking to do one better than they did last season and to achieve their main objective, which is to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The competition may be tough, but these ladies are even tougher. And with the proper planning, they just might turn out to be a squad that can challenge for dominance of the league.

They might also be a squad that can qualify for Europe too.
