AC Milan Technical Director Paolo Maldini Agrees To Remain At The Club

Vito Angele is reporting that Paolo Maldini has agreed to remain with AC Milan this summer as Technical Director after the public drama around the possible arrival of Ralf Rangnick. The renewal of Stefano Pioli has been a turning point for the side as a number of familiar faces will likely remain at the club now. Maldini is reportedly working on the summer transfer window already.

Maldini is responisble for some incredible moves this season where Ante Rebic, Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer, Simon Kjaer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Stefano Pioli have been huge successes. Marco Giampaolo was a standout failure for the Technical Director especially given the sacking of Gennaro Gattuso who went on to lift the Coppa Italia trophy with Napoli less than a year after being released.
