Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan are still pushing for Serbia and Fiorentina centre back Nikola Milenkovic to partner with Alessio Romagnoli next season. The 22 year old's agent Fali Ramadani met with Milan's management last week to attempt to find a deal. Rocco Commisso reportedly wants to recoup as much of the 35 million euros he can. Milan's idea is to include Lucas Paqueta in the deal to lower the cash sum.
Alessandro Jacobone adds that Milan consider Paqueta to be a 'trading chip’ at the moment as he does not fit into the club's plans. He also notes that Fiorentina is not the only possible destination for him.
MilanLive.it are reporting that Milenkovic has not renewed his contract with Fiorentina which expires in 2022 and Milan are tracking him. Stefano Pioli managed him for about two seasons hence knows his play and this could help the deal.
