AC Milan Have Two Options For The Striker Position; Ibrahimovic Renewal Is Key

MilanNews.it are reporting that 38 year old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to stay at AC Milan next season and the club also want to keep him. The two parties are currently in talks over a contract renewal where the former Sweden international wants to be guaranteed a central role.

Sport Mediaset via MilanNews.it indicate that there are two possible courses of action on the table for the club:

1. Ibrahimovic stays, Leao will be his back up. Use money to add depth to the attacking midfield roles.
2. Ibrahimovic leaves, Milan spend about 50 million euros on a replacement.

Daniele Longo on Calcio Mercato is reporting that Ibrahimovic is asking for 6 million euros for the one year extension whilst Maldini is ready to offer 4 million euros.
