AC Milan via their website confirmed the renewal of their principal partner Emirates Airlines for another three years. The airline has been the short sponsor for the club for a decade at this point and the deal will make the airline the longest shirt sponsor in the club's history surpassing Opel. The new deal was expected to be lower and have some space for additional sponsors to come on board. This will particularly affect the Rossonere.

The Women's Team will have a different sponsor to the Men's Team next season as confirmed by the press statement. The training kits will also have other sponsors whilst the sleeves of the men's side will have additional sponsors. This is the first time ever that Milan will have additional sponsors and for the first time the Women's team will get an independent sponsor than the Men's team. The Rossonere have worn 'Fly Emirates’ as their shirt sponsor for the first two years of their existence where they finished 3rd in both seasons missing out on Champions League qualification both times.
The implications of this are not clear at the moment but there is potential for increased revenues for the Women's side as a result. This is also an opportunity for the Women's team to develop a unique identity and more tailored partners who are committed to supporting the Women's side. It remains to be seen if any sponsors have been lined up and feature on the new shirts when they are released today.
