Nicolo Schira is reporting that Aston Villa can permanently sign AC Milan owned goalkeeper Pepe Reina after his 6 month loan spell in the Premier League. The goalkeeper played a major role helping Villa to stay above the relegation zone and to grab another season in the top flight. The goalkeeper earns 3.5 million euros per year at Milan hence costs the club about 7 million per annum hence they would be looking to allow him to leave this summer. He has another year on his contract at Milan, he only played 1 game this season for Milan.

Reina via MilanNews.it said, “I will not hang up my gloves. I feel I still have two years at high levels, I will return to Milan because I have another year of contract. But in football one day you can say something, in the following week you can be somewhere else.”
