AC Milan have confirmed via Twitter that the inspiration for the 2020/21 home shirt comes from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II as opposed to the Duomo di Milano. The shirt will feature a pattern in the fabric in line with Puma's ‘Crafted from Culture’ campaign.

As we reported here a few months ago, there seemed to be conflicting reports on whether the circular pattern was derived from the floors of the Duomo or the ceilings of the Galleria. The confirmation came yesterday as the shirts are set to be launched tomorrow.
