Le10Sport are exclusively reporting that AC Milan are leading the race to sign Wesley Fofana from Saint Etienne. The centre back featured in the Cup final against PSG this past week and looked very impressive against some truly exceptional opposition. Milan had previously submitted a 14 million euro for the centre back which was turned down. Maldini and Massara are expected to submit their second offer as the French side want 20 million euros.

The report notes that Fofana’s entourage have an agreement with Milan for a move and are happy with the contract terms being offered. Leicester City are also monitoring the defender and cannot be ruled out. Milan have already signed Pierre Kalulu from France as the youngster departed Lyon on a bosman.
