Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that a market duel is expected for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali this summer between AC Milan and Inter Milan .
Di Marzio has stated: “The player has already said yes to Inter in late April, then Inter never closed with Brescia. They are in talks with Cellino, who is a tough nut. Milan have joined, who both with Maldini-Massara and Rangnick had put Tonali at the top of the list.’’
“They asked for information from the player’s agent, Beppe Bozzo, as well as Brescia. Now, whoever finds an agreement with Cellino first will close a deal. It’s a nice market duel.”
Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanLive.it are reporting that Milan have put a 30 million euro offer on the table with 10 million to be paid up front and the remainder to be paid over three years.
SportMediaset via MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan are not giving up on the signing of the midfielder and are willing to negotiate with Cellino to find an agreement. Paolo Maldini has reportedly reached out to speak to the agent of the player.
