Vito Angele is reporting that AC Milan are determined to add an important piece of the squad this summer with a significant investment for a right back. Emerson is a top target for the position after his impressive displays with Real Betis but the negotiation with Barcelona is proving difficult. Milan would have to negotiate with both clubs to facilitate the move and is could cost around 30 million euros.
Antonio Vitiello is reporting that the agents of Emerson - Graziano Battistini and Sebastiano Salaroli of Promoesport - met with Milan's management today to find a solution for the move.

Mundo Deportivo have reported that Milan are keen on the signing but are put off by the 30 million asking price. This report notes that important steps forward have been taken and that Barcelona would be open to the move if Milan offer upwards of 25 million euros.
Simone Cristao is reporting that Milan hoped for a loan but this was rejected. Barcelona want 30 million and Milan have offered 22-23 million euros at this point.
