AC Milan are facing a crisis of depth against Atalanta on Friday as the Sassuolo fixture had decimated the squad and resulted in a number of question marks.

Alessio Romagnoli has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an issue with his right calf resulting in him getting substituted off after 32 minutes. (MilanNews.it)

Andrea Conti pulled up with an injury during the game and was subbed off after just ten minutes. He seems to have an issue with his knee. (MilanNews.it)

Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer picked up bookings during the game thus will be suspended for the clash due to the accumulation of yellow cards.

Simon Kjaer also picked up an injury during the game and will need to be assessed to determine whether he is fit to play. (MilanNews.it)

As it stands, Matteo Gabbia, Diego Laxalt and Lucas Biglia are expected to start against Atalanta who are the only other unbeaten side since the restart last month. Milan lost 5-0 to Atalanta in December to mark a horrific end to the 2010s and will want revenge.
