Pietro Mazzara of MilanNews.it is reporting that Elliot Management and AC Milan's upper management made the decision to replace Stefano Pioli with Ralf Rangick already and this will not be reversed. The German will arrive to takeover as both Technical Director and Manager. In recent weeks however Pioli has turned the team around and is enjoying an incredible run of form. This will not help him keep his job.

Mazzara is reporting that the likelihood of Pioli and Rangnick both working at the club is low as they will not be a cohabitation. He does significantly add that Rangnick wants to build upon Pioli's progress so as to not start from scratch. Rangnick is reportedly closely watching and studying the current side to see how he can continue with this form. Milan have 6 wins and 3 draws in the 9 matches in all competitions since the restart.
