AC Milan face Sassuolo tonight but the side is at a major risk for the next fixture against Atalanta as there are five players in the squad who are on the brink of suspension. Milan lost 5-0 to bring a humiliating end to the 2010s last December against small rivals from Bergamo who have taken Serie A by storm. This game offers a shot at redemption but Milan must be cautious not to pick up any bookings tonight.

MilanLive.it are reporting that Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer and Ante Rebic are all one yellow card away from suspension. Thus if they get booked tonight, they will miss the next critical game. Kjaer and Romagnoli are the heart of the defence, Hernandez is an attacking spark, Bennacer controls the midfield and Rebic is out top scorer. Losing any of the players would be a huge blow, but there is a possibility to lose multiple of them. Milan must be cautious and Stefano Pioli must try to out the game to bed early to sub off the vulnerable players.

Note ** The source is reporting that Bennacer could be suspended however he has 13 yellow cards and suspensions come after every 5 yellows, thus he may not yet be at risk of suspension.
