Gazzetta dello Sport via MilanNews.it are reporting that AC Milan's CEO Ivan Gazidis will have to make a decision on the future of club legend Paolo Maldini in the coming days. The future of the Technical Director hangs in the balance as the arrival of Ralf Rangnick seems imminent. Milan are reportedly proposing a role to Maldini similar to that of Pavel Nedved at Juventus to keep him at the club. The role would be operational leaving the technical decisions on transfers to Rangnick.
Maldini will likely turn down the role but this remains to be seen. The report also adds that the incoming German is expected to bring eight members of staff with him and will look to keep Hendrik Almstadt and Geoffrey Moncada on board.
