Vito Angele is reporting that AC Milan are seriously thinking of Matteo Pessina as an option for the summer. The midfielder on loan at Hellas Verona has impressed all season and has clinical in front recently with two goals in the past two games taking his tally for the season up to 7. Pessina is owned by Atalanta where he moved as part of the deal for Andrea Conti in 2017 from Milan. The Rossoneri can get a 50% discount for the young midfielder due to the sell on clause for him.
Angele notes that Milan are also looking at Seko Fofana from Udinese from the midfield. The 25 year old has 32 appearances for Udine and has been one of the only standout players for them this season. He plays as a central midfielder from where he has scored 2 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions.
Angele surprisingly notes that at the moment there do not seem to be any possibilities for a return of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea and adds that there have been no talks with the entourage of the player for a move. Bakayoko was heavily linked with a return throughout April and May after Monaco made clear that they would use their option to buy him.
