Instead of breaking this up into two half’s i’m just gonna flat out say that Milan dominated the 90 minutes. Milan came out of the gates pressing Bologna and giving them absolutely no space to play. Milan were also great going forward as they looked fluid during the whole match. Milan went up two goals to nothing, but late in the first half Bologna scored a great goal which brought them back within one. Unlike the old Milan, this team responded to the goal well and they came out firing again in the second half. They continued to play fluid attacking football. This was an overall dominate performance from Milan. This game saw both Bennacer and Saelemaekers score their first goals for Milan, plus it saw Rebic continue his great play. After 90 minutes the match ended 5-1 but the score would have been even more lopsided if Milan capitalized on more opportunities.

STARTING LINE-UP
Gigio Donnarumma: Gigio didn't have much to do but late in the match he made some questionable moves even giving the ball away to Bologna for a easy scoring chance. 6/10
Davide Calabria: Calabria was respectable today and we even got to see a Calabria goal which doesn't come often. 6.3/10
GOOOOAAAALLLLLL! CALABRIA! pic.twitter.com/JKxB5jHghY

Simon Kjaer: Kjaer was solid again in this match until late where he made a back pass to Gigio that had far too little on it, thankfully this didn't lead to a goal. Simon made up for it by saving Gigio after he gave the ball away. 6.7/10
Alessio Romagnoli: Alessio has had some bad moments since the restart and surely could have done much better defending on the Bologna goal. After that he tightened up not allowing Bologna players past him. 6/10
Theo Hernandez: All around Theo was great today on both the offensive and defensive side. 6.9/10
GOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL! BENNACER! pic.twitter.com/fRbhyQy9fj

Ismael Bennacer: Finally, Bennacer scores for Milan and it was a nice solo run. Other than that he was great with Kessie. 7.5/10
Franck Kessie: Franck’s progression since the restart has impressed me so much, he now plays calm and makes smart plays. Not to mention that he is an unstoppable force defensively. 7.4/10
Alexis Saelemaekers: Saelemaekers scores his first goal for Milan and it was pretty nice I might add. His work rate is just unbeaten, the guy doesn't stop running. 6.7/10

Hakan Calhanoglu: Hakan wasn't a creative force as he's been in recent games but he was fairly involved in the attack. He scored and he was vital to the Milan press. 6.9/10
Ante Rebic: Rebic is just flaming hot and there is no stopping him. He is such an unpredictable player and strong with both feet it is great to see. His link up play with Theo was exceptional in this match. 7.5/10
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Zlatan wasn't as goal hungry against Bologna and that made him play better. He was constantly involved in the build up play and assisted a Rebic goal. 6.7/10

SUBSTITUTES
Jack Bonaventura: Jack didn't really get involved much offensively but he didn't really have the opportunity. 6/10
Rafael Leao: Leao had some good moments against Bologna. He had a nice assist to Calabria and it looked like he was having a great time. 6.2/10
Rade Krunic: Krunic is a decent rotationally player that has strengths on defence, not much else to it. 6/10
Lucas Biglia: No major mistakes from Biglia but it'll still be nice to see him leave the club. 5.9/10
Lorenzo Colombo: Serie A debut for Colombo and he almost had the chance to score. 6/10
Oh forgot to tweet this . .
