Antonio Vitiello is reporting that AC Milan are in constant contact through Ralf Rangnick for RB Salzburg and Hungary midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. As we reported here earlier, Milan put a 5 year contract worth 1.5 million euros per season on the table.

Alfredo Pedulla is reporting that Milan are willing to raise their offer to 1.8-2 million euros per season plus bonuses to ensure he signs on. Rangnick reportedly has him as the number one priority for the summer.

Daniele Longo on Calcio Mercato is reporting that the offer currently on the table is a 1.4 million contract plus bonuses for 5 years. The player and his agents are reportedly open to the move but Milan are missing the agreement with Salzburg.

Szoboszlai has won the league and cup in Austria this season whilst also being named the player of the season. The midfielder has scored 12 goals and provided 18 assists in 40 appearances in all competitions this season. He has a 25 million euro release clause.
