La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that AC Milan's main goal for the summer is Hungary and RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai. The 19 year old is expected to cost around 25 million euros as he reportedly has a release clause. The midfielder and his father rover the past week caused a stir online when they liked posts purporting a move to Milan as well as the midfielder's exchanges with Milan striker Rafael Leao.
Nico Schira on Twitter confirmed that the midfielder has a 24 million euro release clause but notes the competition is high with the likes of PSG, Arsenal and Napoli on his trail. Szoboszlai was named the Bundesliga Player of the Year in Austria as his side lifted both the League title and the Cup. He contributed 12 goals and 18 assists in all competitions this season from left midfield.
Alfredo Pedulla is reporting that Szoboszlai is the priority and that there have been contacts between Ralf Rangnick and the player where the prospective manager has asked him to be patient and wait for Milan's approach. Rangnick has informed Szoboszlai that his is the priority this summer. Pedulla also confirms the 25 million release clause.
