CalcioMercato.it are reporting that AC Milan are interested in Norwich City centre back Ben Godfrey. The defender is part of the relegation bound side and despite a solid season could be available at a discounted rate this summer. Milan have reportedly spoken to intermediaries who are the CEO and Head of Overseas Markets of New Era Global Sports over the move. The 22 year old has 29 appearance in all competitions thus far this season, he broke out with the first team last season in the Championship where he helped Norwich gain promotion.

Norwich reportedly value the defender at 50 million euros but a deal can likely be closed at about 28 million euros. The youngster is also being followed by AS Roma, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund amongst others. Milan are looking to add a key centre back for the upcoming season to partner with Alessio Romagnoli long term.
