Marca have provided an update on AC Milan's pursuit of Luka Jovic from Real Madrid this summer. The Serbia international has struggled in his debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu and seems set for an exit. The report states that the striker can leave this summer and that Milan are in pole position for his signature. The player's agent Fali Ramadani is set to hold talks with the Rossoneri management to find a deal.
Marca: Milan is close to closing the Serbian Jovic deal from Real Madrid on loan for two seasons with the right to purchase, the agreement remains on the player's salary (5 million), which may be reduced slightly.

The plan from Milan's perspective is to sign Jovic on a two year loan with an option to buy the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker. This would reunite him with Ante Rebic. The deal seems likely is a resolution is found for his wages which currently stand at 5 million euros per year - too high for the Rossoneri.
