Pietro Mazzara of MilanNews.it is reporting that Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is pushing for a move back to AC Milan after he was not redeemed by Monaco. The defensive midfielder has struggled at Stamford Bridge resulting in two consecutive loan spells abroad where he has performed amazingly in Milan and in Monaco but still is deemed excess to requirements in London. The midfielder wants a move back to the Rossoneri as he likes the club and has a strong relationship with the players but a move seems complicated.

Chelsea value the France international at 35 million euros which is why he has been very hard to offload but if they reduce their asking price, he will likely be snapped up. The formula under consideration is a new loan with an option to buy. Bakayoko is seen to be the optimal partner for Ismael Bennacer at the heart of the midfield to form a 'dynamicv and aggressive’ partnership.
