Sempre Milan are reporting on four new images of the proposed Nuovo Stadio Milano development that demonstrates multiple uses of the re-purposed remnants of the San Siro stadium. The images shown below display a single surviving tower hosting restaurants and offices as well as a zip lining activity. There is also a mock up of the interior that seems to display a museum floor.
As we reported last month here, AC Milan and Inter Milan submitted new plans to the City of Milan that incorporated part of the old San Siro as requested by the council. There is growing optimism around the project and the Heritage Authority of Lombardy also gave the green light for the new development as we reported here thus it seems to be a matter of time before the final approvals arrive and the two clubs can break ground on the monumental project.
