Pietro Balzano Prota on Twitch via SightsMilan on Twitter is reporting that AC Milan's have signed a new shirt sponsorship deal with Emirates Airlines but the announcement is missing. He goes on to note that the new deal is not as bad as earlier feared as it will likely contain a number of performance related bonuses and more significantly, it gives Milan more space to add additional sponsorships to their portfolio.

Renewal with Emirates is done. The new contract has a few clauses: Milan will have more room to move with other sponsorships. The fixed part is smaller, but the performance-based bonuses from Emirates are bigger than before. Only the announcement is missing.

As we reported here, Milan will likely receive significantly less and sign a 2 year extension with the airline and hope to renegotiate again when they are performing better on the pitch. This new report confirms a lower fixed part of the sponsorship but Milan have the potential to earn much more by performing well on the pitch.
