Gianluca di Marzio is reporting that AC Milan defender Leo Duarte has picked up an injury in training yesterday. The centre back who arrived from Brazil at the start of the season had been ruled out for a couple of months after picking up a severe ankle injury early on in the season. He is reported to have a flexor muscle issue an will be examined in the coming days.

The initial report suggests that if the injury is confirmed, the defender could be out for 3-4 weeks. This report follows another concerning a potential issue for Milan right back Andrea Conti as we reported here. Milan are missing a number of players due to suspension for their first game back and squad seems to be thinning further due to injuries.
