MilanNews.it quoting AC Milan's President Paolo Scaroni who spoke to Sky report that the club feel they have made an important sacrifice to push the project through. Scaroni expects the Nuovo Stadio Milano project to begin in the spring of next year. He did note that a decision on the architectural design will be made in the coming weeks.
He stated, “When will we choose one project or another? I would say in the coming weeks, because when we start the detailed design, which will be a very expensive design, we think we will spend 40 million euros only on design, we have to do it on one project, we can’t do it on two.”
