Bild are reporting that AC Milan have missed out on 18 year old centre back Tanguy Kouassi from PSG. The young Frenchman is reportedly joining Bayern Munich on a bosman deal after turning down a professional contract from PSG. The defender had been strongly linked to RB Leipzig and Milan but both were blindsided by Bayern who will sign him on a five year deal.
Confirmed @cfbayern and here we go: Tanguy Kouassi is going to sign with Bayern Münich as a free agent. Total agreement reached. The French CB has decided to leave PSG and club directors are “furious”. #Bayern #BayernMünich #PSG #transfers

As we reported here, Rangnick is rumourd to have called to defender to convince him of the project but this does not seem to have worked. Milan may have lost out to Bayern for Kouassi but did beat the German outfit to the signing of Pierre Kalulu from Lyon on a bosman deal. The two French defenders seem to have kicked off the transfer window for the summer of 2020.
