Sky Italia are reporting that OGC Nice centre back Malang Sarr is on AC Milan watch list for the summer transfer window as they look to secure a young defender to partner with Alessio Romagnoli for the long term. The 21 year old defender has been an extremely impressive part of his side’s 5th place finish under Patrick Viera this season. The France U21 international has an expiring contract this summer and could be available on a bosman if he does not renew. Sarr is strong, agile and a good tackler. He is an aerial threat and has good acceleration.

The defender has played primarily as a centre back but has covered in at left back a couple of times. The defender had 20 appearances in all competitions as he established himself as a regular starter before the football season in France was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic. He is a hot commodity on market as he is being followed by Inter Milan and Lazio in Italy and West Ham United and Newcastle United in England.
