AC Milan Sent Scouts To Watch Four Youngsters In The Eternal Derby Of Belgrade

Partizan beat Red Star 1-0 as two targets come off the bench.

Serbian newspaper Telegraf via MilanLive.it are reporting that AC Milan sent scouts to watch the cup semi-final between Partizan Belgrade and Red Stare Belgrade (Crvena Zvezda) yesterday in Serbia to watch four players. The Eternal Derby ended 1-0 in favour of Partizan as fans were allowed in the stands for the first time since mid-March.

From Partizan, Milan were reportedly watching 18 year old centre back Lazar Pavlovic who has 19 appearances in all competitions this season. Milan also watched 17 year old left winger Filip Stevanovic who has 8 goals and 3 assists in all competitions from 32 appearances.

From Red Star, Milan were reportedly watching 19 year old left winger Zelkjo Gavric who has 8 goals and 7 assists in 30 appearances in all competitions this season. They are also scouting 20 year old Veljko Nikolic - a playmaker - who has 1 goal and 1 assist in 10 appearances.

Milan were definitely looking out for future stars and cheap young buys who have a lot of room for development. The players from both teams have performed admirably this season as Red Star have mathematically won the league whilst Partizan sit in second place and are in the cup final. Both sides also featured in the Europe as Red Star played in the Champions League while Partizan Belgrade featured in the Europa League.
