Pietro Mazzara via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis attended the training today for the first time since the 6th of March alongside Frederick Massara. He attended the session to speak to the squad to accept their proposal on the salary cuts and to follow the training ahead of the Juventus fixture in the Coppa Italia.

Vito Angele of Sempre Milan is reporting that Ibrahimovic expressed discontent at the unavailability of Ivan Gazidis over the past couple of months to openly discuss the salary cuts as well as other issues. There was apparently an open argument witnessed by a part of the squad between the striker and the CEO stemming from the Swede’s frustration over the sacking of Boban, the distance of Maldini and the unavailability of Gazidis.

Peppe di Stefano of Sky Italia via MilanNews.it is reporting that Gazidis apologsied for his absence and explained to the squad the delay in communicating the cuts amongst other issues. Gazidis reportedly reassured the squad of the financial prowess of the club’s owners and discussed upcoming investments in the market and the stadium. He noted that the upcoming months are critical and that the team needed to give their maximal effort.
