Calcio Mercato are reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt have opened talks with AC Milan to define terms for a permanent deal for striker Andre Silva despite the current two year loan deal in place. The Portugal international swapped with Ante Rebic at the beginning of the season and has been an on and off performer for Frankfurt. The German side are just above relegation but Silva has contributed decently enough over the season with bursts of form. Since the resumption of the Bundesliga, Silva has scored three goals in four games helping his side earn crucial points.
It remains unclear if Frankfurt want to buy him outright this summer or buy his next summer when the loan deal ends but what seems to be the case is the concrete interest in the striker. On the other hand, Andrea Longoni via MilanNews.it is reporting that Milan have also opened talks with Frankfurt to make the move for Croatia international Rebic permanent.
