LeSport10 have followed up their initial report on PSG's interest in Ismael Bennacer with a new addition noting that Leonardo has been assigned 30 million euros by the club to close a deal with AC Milan. The Algeria international has been a top performer in his debut season at the San Siro and was awarded the AFCON Player of the Tournament last summer when he led his national side to the title. Bennacer joined Milan for 16 million euros from Empoli.

The midfielder's value has thus doubled in less than a year. Although Milan have no plans to sell the key cog in their midfield, the prospect of a huge capital gain could tempt the club's owners to consider the approach. Bennacer has made 23 appearances this season across all competitions.
