Sempre Milan are reporting that there is good news on the renewals front for AC Milan as the club is determined to tie down Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessio Romagnoli to long term contracts. The two are the core of Milan and are leaders in the team. The report notes that Gigio is determined to renew based on his love for the club and the red and black colours. The report also notes that Gigio could get a slightly smaller contract or his same 6 million a year deal over another five years with bonuses related to Champions League qualification. The duo are centre pieces for not just Milan but also for Italy's national team.

In the case of Romagnoli, the club are moving forward to renew his deal as he has the desire to win with the club as Captain. The focus of the renewals is the heart of the defence and players who embody the red and black spirit. Both Donnarumma and Romagnoli have an insane number of appearances with the club given their tender ages with 190 and 181 appearances respectively. Both have only won one minor trophy, the 2017 Supercoppa.
