Ed.nl are reporting that AC Milan made an initial approach for PSV Eindhoven right back Denzel Dumfries by offering a swap deal with left back Ricardo Rodriguez who is on loan at the club. This approach has shot down by the Dutch club. The young right back has had stellar seasons and is reportedly looking for a jump in quality.

Now, Daniele Longo via Twitter is reporting that the operations for for Rodriguez and Dumfries will be completely separate. The Rossoneri will need one of Conti or Calabria to exit the club first. Milan seem firm on acquiring Dumfries whilst PSV seem unlikely to redeem Rodriguez.
