Sky Sports are reporting that AC Milan's veteran striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be sidelined for about a month with a calf injury. Milan fans can breathe a sigh of relief as initial reports pointed to an Achilles injury that could have ended the former Sweden international's career. The striker is currently on a 6 month contract with the club with an option for a 12 month renewal.

The club statement read, “AC Milan can report that Zlatan Ibrahimovic reported an injury to the soleus muscle of his right calf in yesterday’s training session. The Achilles tendon is perfectly intact. An examination will be carried out in 10 days.
