Football Italia are reporting that AC Milan midfielder Lucas Biglia discussed his future at the club and the time at the San Siro. The 34 year old former Argentina international has struggled with numerous fitness issues with the Rossoneri losing his spot to Tiemoue Bakayoko and Ismale Bennacer over the past two seasons. He said to Tanto Por Decidir, “I am evaluating my future and I won’t rule out the possibility of returning to play in Argentina.”
Biglia seems likely to move on from the club this summer and appears to confirm that his is weighing up his options as the club has not brought up a renewal. The midfielder was brought in in 2017 from Lazio but only managed 63 appearances in that time.
The midfielder was also critical of the club stating, “Since I arrived, the club has already changed ownership twice, Milan will get back to being Milan when there is stability and organisation within the club. They will be one of the European superpowers the way they were, but it will take time.”
He does bring up a fair point about the lack of continuity amongst the management at the club considering he in just three seasons has seen Mirabelli, Leonardo and Boban/Maldini occupy the Technical Director position.
