Calcio Mercato are reporting that AC Milan target Tanguy Kouassi is very close to a deal with RB Leipzig for the summer. The youngster has broken out at PSG this season but is yet to sign a professional contract with the French Champions. He has already lifted the Ligue 1 with the club as the league is France was prematurely ended due to the coronavirus. The report indicates that the player and his agent will not sign for PSG as he hopes to get regular playing time and had been in talks with Leipzig in January.

The 17 year old centre back is clearly wanted at PSG and is being followed by Real Madrid and Milan in addition to Leipzig. The defender has played just 13 first team appearances but has left a major impact. French journalist Valentin Pauluzzi via Sempre Milan is reporting that it is likely that PSG will fight hard to keep the young defender as they often make space in their squad for youth to partner with more experienced players. He also notes the positive impact for Kouassi of being around Thiago Silva and Marquinhos. The Kouassi link seems to be sticking despite seeming the furthest out of Milan's reach from the original four transfer links from L'Equipe that we reported on here.
